LibreOffice 3.3.1

The Document Foundation heeft de eerste onderhoudsupdate voor zijn kantoorpakket LibreOffice vrijgegeven. LibreOffice 3.3.1 lost enkele crashes onder Windows, Mac OS X en Linux op en moet de stabiliteit van de OpenOffice.org-afsplitsing sterk verbeteren.

Ook zijn er nieuwe iconen beschikbaar voor LibreOffice en worden verschillende vertalingen geüpdate. Met deze snelle update is te zien dat LibreOffice al een andere weg is ingeslagen dan moeder-project OpenOffice.org. Een volgende uitgave van LibreOffice met nieuwe functionaliteit wordt in mei dit jaar verwacht.

LibreOffice is te downloaden voor Windows, Mac OS X en Linux en is vertaald in het Nederlands.

The Document Foundation announces LibreOffice 3.3.1, the first micro release of the free office suite for personal productivity, to improve the stability of the software and eliminate several bugs and crashes affecting Windows, Linux and MacOS X versions. LibreOffice 3.3.1 also brings new colorful icons based on The Document Foundation branding guidelines, and includes updates to several language versions.
